How so?
In short: This is the first year when you might want to buy a certain and only buy X-Plane because it's needed in order to fly the aircraft. This year I've seen things in X-Plane which we used to think wasn't possible to do and probably wouldn't in the future. But maybe the most interesting things are that they didn't appear soon after version 9 was released and doesn't seem to have much to do with the end of development of MSFS.
Sure, for some people X-Plane will remain a tool to test the aircraft they design in Plane-Maker.
And some will continue to like X-Plane because there's a large selection of good aircraft.
